ISO April 2015 Update

ISO April 2015 Update

What’s Happening with ISO:

The certifying departments are well under way with wrapping up their departmental procedures (HR, Security, Finance, Contracts, and Program Management). They are now in the process of creating valuable work instructions, guides, process maps, and other tools that will serve as a learning aid for all of you!  We have created an ISO 9001 website which all employees have the ability to view and are encouraged to keep up with the documentation and new developments as they are available. If access has not yet been granted, please request it and you’ll be able to access it in no time! The link to that site is:

https://sites.google.com/a/patricioenterprises.com/iso/?pli=1

This site is where all ISO-related information will be posted both now and in the future. If you have questions about the information you see, you can contact your ISO Management Rep (IMR) Marquitta Harris, or you can reach out to the appropriate Core 4 Member. We’re here to help!

Auditor Update:

For those individuals who successfully completed the ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Training in November 2014 or March 2015, we will be holding practice audits in the near future. While everyone may not have an opportunity to participate the first time, we will strive to ensure that all employees who received the appropriate training are involved in an auditing session. When the time comes, it will required supervisor approval.

What’s Coming Up:

In May, we are excited about having our first practice audit. If you happen to see a group of people walking around your workspace, we’re getting the Departments prepared for the actual external audit expected to take place around September 2015.

In the near future, the Departments, the Core 4 and the IMR will be working to plan a MANDATORY ISO Orientation. The purpose of the orientation will be to give employees an overview of what changes have been made, what the impact will be to them, how they can go about getting involved, and how the entire ISO process has been integrated into PE. The orientation will provide invaluable information that all employees will be expected to know in the event of an audit. While this isn’t expected to take place until sometime in late-summer, please remember to check the ISO Page and read the newsletter to make sure you have the most accurate and updated information about ISO.
