14 Sep Patricio Enterprises, Inc. Announces CEO Retirement and Succession
STAFFORD, Virginia – After 18 years of exceptional leadership at the company, Patricio Enterprises, Inc. (PE) announces today the upcoming retirement of Carlos Patricio, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective October 31, 2026. With this announcement, PE is pleased to also share the promotion of Ken Burger, Chief Operating Officer (COO), to the role of CEO.
Carlos has been instrumental in leading PE’s strategies, driving its successes, and overseeing operations throughout his nearly two decades at PE. Carlos joined PE as a Program Manager and soon after became PE’s COO. After serving in that role for 15 years, Carlos was promoted to PE’s CEO in early 2024.
On the retirement, Gabe Patricio, Chairman, said, “I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Carlos for his outstanding leadership and service. He has been with the company since 2008 and has been an important part of our history, contributing significantly to the growth and success we have achieved over the years. His dedication, leadership, and commitment to our people and customers have left a lasting mark on PE. Effective November 1, 2026, Ken Burger will lead PE into its next chapter as CEO. Ken has played a central role in PE’s operational excellence and in fostering collaboration across teams and business partners since 2013. Over the past several years as COO, Ken has demonstrated a deep understanding of every aspect of PE’s business.
