We want to give another thank you to those who participated in any ISO 9001 Auditor Training and subsequently volunteered to assist with internal audits. Your support is greatly appreciated and we look forward to your continued participation during our next round of internal audits which are tentatively scheduled for September 2015.

July was a very busy month for ISO. Each Department conducted an ISO brief during which the Advisory Panel was advised of each Department’s progress. The last Internal Auditor Training was successfully conducted and we were able to complete our first successful Program Management (PM) audit!

Each one of these events yielded great outputs and provided opportunities for improvement which have been reviewed, discussed, and may be implemented in the future.

What’s Coming Up?

August is the month that the ISO Orientation is being held. All are allowed and highly encouraged to participate in the training. There will be an overview of ISO which will provide a live demonstration of how to access information stored on the Site. The Training conducted by the departments will be a maximum of one hour each and is targeted to Program Managers, Business Group Directors, Site Supervisors, Team Leads, and anyone who has management responsibility.

This is an opportunity for you to ask any questions you have to each department about their processes, procedures, or forms as they relate to ISO. The orientation will provide invaluable information that all employees will be expected to know in the event of an audit. Please remember to check the ISO Site and read the newsletter to make sure you have the most accurate and updated information about ISO. The training dates and times are provided below. The sessions will be recorded and dial-in information can be obtained from your respective BGD for those who are unable to attend in-person.
